A darkly mottled 19th Century cast bronze garden sundial with an unusual central motif of two phoenix like birds which face each other on either side of a cast arrow like gnomon. Which rises from the center of an eight-pointed compass star like sun while the border is encircled by Roman numerals which represent the hours of the day. This example has also been engraved with a quote which reads “Tyme Flys”. An optional custom iron stand for internal use and display, not included.
