An unusual late Georgian, early Victorian horn beaker. Unusual in its design as unlike the more typical depictions of hounds and hunting scenes, this example depicts a village complete with tavern, church several houses and a coach and horses laden with passengers. While at least two ride comfortably inside the coach, ten others take in the view from above.
In exceptional condition overall with a horn base, of strong colour, patination, and minor delamination, which serves as a guide of it age, without which one might be wise to assume it is a recent reproduction.
Guaranteed to be as represented and described.
