A mid-19th century brass inlaid rosewood glass dome. The decoration and design of the feet are reminiscent of Regency tea caddies of the period, while the brass inlaid pattern speaks to a period of design also of this period. This extremely rare example boasts a marble platform inside the dome rather than the more typical faded velvet. A rare survivor in perfect condition.
