This mid 19th century sarcophagus mahogany tea caddy has been artfully decorated with a variety of contrasting woods and bone. The face incorporates a small bone heart while the lid has been enhanced with two flowers and criss-crossing white bone string inlay. Naive, simple but no doubt a beautiful love token from the past.
